Components of a Warning Sign/Safety Label

There may be up to three components or “panels” per label to denote a hazard.  Each panel has a different background color from the adjacent panel:

• Message Panel: Contains word messages which identifying the hazard, how to avoid it and possible consequences
• Signal Word Panel: Contains signal word. (e.g. Danger, Caution, Warning, etc.)
• Symbol/Pictorial Panel (Optional): Contains a symbol depicting the hazard

What elements will your label be exposed to?

How many do you need?

• Large batches
• Medium batches

INFORMATION VARIABILITY:
Do you need to display unique information (e.g. serial number, name, etc.) on each nameplate?

• Each label is the same
• Each label is the same, except for unique info that be will added later
• Each label is the same, except for pre-printed or stamped unique information
• Each label will be different
