  • Good general purpose backer solution
  • Shows scratches if backer surfaces are exposed to user
  • Exposed bare aluminum surfaces may be objectionable
Alodined Aluminum
  • Same as Bare Aluminum except that surface treatment provides a somewhat non-conductive surface
  • Same as Bare Aluminum
Painted Aluminum
  • Reasonable scratch resistance depending on paint type
  • Custom color capabilities
  • Non-conductive surface
  • Can be scratched depending on paint type
Anodized Aluminum
  • Excellent durability characteristics - very scratch resistant
  • Completely non-conductive surface except studs
  • Available in a number of colors
  • Provides a very finished look to any exposed surface
  • No color match for colors
